Michael N. Doku, known to listeners as MND Muzik
Michael N. Doku is a gospel recording artist of Ghanaian heritage, now based in Brattleboro, Vermont. Recording under the name MND Muzik, his sound draws together gospel, Afrobeats, R&B, and soul — a musical bridge between the worship traditions he grew up with in Ghana and the contemporary sound he has developed since.
He is also a piano student with a gospel focus, and his active connection to West African cultural identity shapes both the sound and visual aesthetic of his releases — from Adinkra-inspired artwork to bilingual lyrics sung in English and Twi. He records at a studio in Connecticut, traveling most weekends to work on new material.
